b'SEED WORLD EUROPE From 14 June to 14 July, many Europeans tuned in to watch the UEFA Euro2024 football CELEBRATEStournament, which set a new attendance benchmark, with more fans going to games than ever before. Approximately 2.67 million UEFA 2024 fans attended the 51 games played across 10 stadiums, surpassing the previous record of 2.43 million set at Euro 2016 in France. The fans saw 117 goals being scored, which is about 2.3 goals per match. At Seed World Europe we enjoyed watching the tournament, not only for the fun of the games, but also because we realized that the matches were being played on some of the best grass pitches in the world, with grass varieties that have been specifically bred to withstand the wear & tear and perform well under stadium conditions.Safe to say that most spectators had a lot of fun watching the games, although some grass experts were heard saying that such soccer matches are nothing more than 21 millionaires destroying a perfectly good grass pitch. All joking aside, to have you join in the fun, we asked you to show your support for your favourite team, by dressing up in your favourite team colours. Many contributions came in during the tournament, and we are happy to show all of them here on these pages.Annie Bronkhorst and If you had any doubther son Eugne cheering who Seed Worldfor the Dutch team.Europe Editorial Director Marcel Bruins was rooting for.42ISEED WORLD EUROPEISEEDWORLD.COM/EUROPE'
