compliance throughout every stage of seed 
testing.
On 21 January 2026, the Kaveri Seed Testing 
Laboratory at Gowraram successfully 
underwent a comprehensive ISTA Laboratory 
Accreditation Audit. The audit was conducted 
with exceptional technical proficiency and 
professional rigour by System Auditor, Dr 
Rasha El-Khadem and Technical Auditor, Ms 
Christine Herzog. Following the satisfactory 
closure of all substantial and non-substantial 
non-conformities and the successful verification 
of the submitted corrective actions, the ISTA 
audit team formally approved the laboratory for 
accreditation.
Consequently, on 2 July 2026, the Seed Testing 
Laboratory of Kaveri Seed Company Ltd was 
officially granted ISTA Laboratory Accreditation 
(IN36), thereby authorising the laboratory 
to issue both Orange International Seed Lot 
Certificates (OIC) and Blue International Seed 
Sample Certificates (BIC) for international seed 
trade, in full conformity with the ISTA Rules. The 
laboratory is accredited to perform testing for 
cereals, vegetables, spices, herbs and medicinal 
plant species. Its scope of testing includes

of other seeds, germination and moisture 
content.
