respond more rapidly to customer requests and
provide greater flexibility when ISTA Certificates
are required for export. The achievement
also reinforces confidence in the quality and
consistency of Takii Europe’s testing services.
“Standardised testing methods enable reliable
decision-making and ensure a consistently high
level of quality,” says Remeeus. “That reliability
is essential for international seed trade.”
Looking Ahead
For Remeeus, who had been involved in ISTA
accreditation activities earlier in her career,
the project also highlighted how quality
management has evolved over the years.
“Today there is much greater focus on analysing
non-conformities, identifying root causes,
implementing effective corrective actions, and
ensuring that improvements are embedded
throughout the system,” she explains.
Reflecting on the journey, she believes the
accreditation brings long-term value beyond
compliance alone.
“An ISTA accreditation project structures the
way an organisation works and raises quality
awareness across departments. It encourages a
more uniform approach and reduces dependence
on individual interpretation. Ultimately, that
creates efficiency and strengthens quality
throughout the company.”
With its newly obtained ISTA accreditation, Takii
Europe is well positioned to support customers
with internationally recognised seed testing
services while continuing its commitment to
excellence in seed quality assurance.
