AgMoreThanEver.ca Be somebody who does something. Be an agvocate. Somebody should set the record straight. Somebody should do something. Well I’m somebody. You’re somebody. Everyone in ag is somebody. So be somebody who does something. Somebody who speaks from a place of experience, with passion and conviction. Somebody who proudly takes part in food conversations big or small, so our voice is heard. Somebody who tells our story, before someone else does. Somebody who builds consumer trust so our industry can meet the demands of a growing, and very hungry, world. Somebody who shapes people’s relationship with agriculture. It can be done. But it’s a big job that takes co-operation, patience and respect for every voice in the conversation. We need to build lines of communication, not draw lines in the sand. Be somebody who helps everybody see Canadian agriculture as the vital, modern industry it is. Somebody who helps everybody see people in ag for what they are – neighbours, friends, and family who share the same concern everyone does: providing safe, healthy food to the people we love. Our point of view is important. Our story is important. And people want to hear what we have to say. So be somebody who takes, and makes, every opportunity to share it. I’m somebody. You’re somebody. Together, we can tell everybody.
