PRODUCT NEWS Syngenta will sell 12 new soybean seed varieties with dicamba- tolerant soybean technology in its proprietary NK and Golden Harvest brands for 2017 planting. These new varieties offer Roundup Ready 2 Xtend technology, under a royalty-bearing license from Monsanto, in both brands to pro- vide new options and choices for farmers. DuPont Pioneer and CHS Inc. announced that CHS Processing and Food Ingredients will offer production contracts for Pioneer brand Plenish high oleic soybeans for 2017 production in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. During the Agrow Awards in London, Exosect won the “Best Application Technology Innovation” for Entostat, a pat- ented technology developed in support of the need for agricul- tural inputs to become smarter, leaner and cleaner. The award category applies to technologies such as adjuvants used to improve the precision or safety of pesticide application. Researchers at The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation and University of Georgia (UGA) have developed a new white clover variety called Renovation to help agricultural producers improve and maintain healthy, productive pastures. Renovation is the first white clover released by the Noble Foundation and the first commer- cial product of the joint breeding effort. SW
