The company will be called Corteva Agriscience. The corporate headquar- ters for the new company will be located in Wilmington, Delaware, and will include key corporate support func- tions. DowDuPont also announced the name of its new seed brand. Seed products bearing the Brevant brand are initially planned for Latin America, Canada and selected European countries in 2018. SETTLEMENT REACHED IN FLUENCY AGENT DISPUTE A Canadian patent dispute surrounding Bayer's use of synthetic waxes as a fluency agent for seed has been set- tled. PEOPLE DAVID SIPPELL JOINS CIBUS TO LEAD CANADIAN OPERATIONS Cibus, a U.S. trait development and plant breeding company, has appointed David Sippell as vice-president and general man- ager, Canada. He will manage Canadian operations from Cibus’ new office in Winnipeg. Sippell has more than three decades of experience within the agribusi- ness sector.
