Description

The Independent Food Systems Summit Dialogue on “Innovation for Sustainable Food Systems: the role of New Improved Plant Varieties” will bring together farmers, representatives and experts from the seed and new plant variety protection’s sectors, and other relevant stakeholders to explore and discuss the role of new improved plant varieties for the sustainability of food systems.

The event will build on joint collaborative work between the World Farmers’ Organisation, WFO, the International Seed Federation, ISF, and the International Union for the Protection on New Varieties of Plants, UPOV, around the role of innovation with a focus on New Improved Plant Varieties.
