Designed around the five functional areas of a seed business, the ASTA Management Academy is again, for the 30th year, looking to help seed professionals improve their management skills.
The week-long academy takes participants through strategy, organizational leadership, finance, sales and marketing and supply chain decisions. Through the course, Aissa Good, program coordinator, says participants learn how a decision made in one area of the business impacts the others.
The ASTA Management Academy, hosted by Purdue University’s Center for Food and Agricultural Business, will be held March 6-10, 2017, in West Lafayette, Indiana. Registration is open and available online and costs $2,595 for members of the American Seed Trade Association and $3,695 for non-members.
Both continuing education units and certified crop advisor credits are available through this program.
