The Organic Seed Alliance (OSA), in partnership with the Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture (MESA), will host a six-part online course for individuals interested in growing their organic seed production skills.
Throughout the course, participants will learn about trials and selection, diseases and pests, seed quality, harvesting techniques and equipment, cleaning and record-keeping, seed contracting, and economics and policy.
The course begins July 19 and runs through November.
Participants will have access to webinars, reading lists, online discussion forums and other materials that will collectively serve as a comprehensive resource for learning about organic seed production, according to OSA. The course is free, but registration is required.
