Former Major League Baseball star hitter Frank Thomas rubbed shoulders with attendees of the American Seed Trade Association’s Corn & Sorghum Seed Research Conference & Seed Expo in Chicago today.
Nicknamed “The Big Hurt” for his fearsome and devastating hitting style, Thomas is a former first baseman in Major League Baseball, playing the majority of his career with the Chicago White Sox. Thomas was a five-time All-Star, and in 2005, his last season in Chicago, helped the White Sox to their first World Series title in 88 years.
Thomas made his appearance at BASF’s booth in Columbus Hall.
