Iowa State to Host Seed Conditioning, Quality Evaluation Workshops

Iowa State University will host a series of workshops on seed conditioning and quality testing procedures this summer.
The workshops are designed to be small group sessions that feature a mix of classroom and hands-on equipment operation in the pilot plant at the ISU Seed Science Center.
According to Seed Science Center staff, there are several program revisions for 2015. This year, the food grade bean program will be extended to four days, which means more content and takeaway.
The past Satake programs have been duplicate sessions intended to help minimize group size but the second session will focus primarily on the company’s new Evolution machines.
