Yesterday, July 12, South Pacific Seeds and Dorsing Seeds Inc. announced that the business and infrastructure of Dorsing Seeds Inc. has been acquired by SPS Dorsing Seeds Inc. — a company jointly owned by South Pacific Seeds Pty Limited and South Pacific Seeds ( NZ ) Limited.
SPS Dorsing Seeds Inc. is incorporated in Idaho and will operate from the existing facilities situated on Highway 95 at Parma.
The new company will focus on hybrid vegetable contract seed multiplication in Idaho and adjoining states and will also continue Dorsing’s current production and sales of standard and exclusive vegetable varieties.
Doug Dorsing and all employees have joined SPS Dorsing Seeds Inc. Dorsing has been appointed the company’s general manager, where he will be supported by Matt Storlie in domestic sales and production and Sarah Gragg in administration.
