Indiana’s Total Seed Production announces the start of another plant expansion project for 2016.
“This type of expansion once again proves our commitment to our customers and to the industry to continue to be the best seed supplier of both seed corn and soybeans,” said Aaron Conaway, president of TSP.
“This expansion is to accommodate the growing need for our soybean production and services. Demand has increased 250 percent in the past two years, and we are expecting the demand to continue to increase over the next five years.”
TSP continues to expand because of the vertical integration structure; this has been a major factor in both our success and our customer’s success over the past 80 years.
Highlights of the expansion include 28,500 square feet of warehouse space; three dock doors (total of 7); rapid indoor bulk loading system; 5,000 bu. per hour receiving system with receiving bins; 70ft semi scale (total of two); Sortex colour sorter; and 6,400 square foot facility for our crop spraying operation.
