Construction Begins on Incotec’s New Innovation Center

The first pile is driven for Incotec’s new R&D Innovation Center on the Westeinde in Enkhuizen, Netherlands. The event took place Nov. 18 before an audience of Incotec employees as well as all the contractors involved.
R&D employees Roelf Weges and Carola Peters had a special role in the ceremony. Under the watchful eye of global R&D Director, Bob Legro, they activated the pile driver.
Incotec’s Innovation Center is being built on the company’s own grounds. The building is for the research and development departments who are responsible for development of new technologies and products. It will house around 60 employees who are presently working at various locations on the Westeinde in Enkhuizen.
“The new Innovation Center is a big step forward for Incotec’s R&D operation. The company results are back on the upward curve and the state-of-the-art Innovation Center will facilitate our efforts to provide customers with the solutions they need,” says Bob Legro, global R&D director.
