AgReliant Genetics Expands Research Facility

AgReliant Genetics begins construction on a greenhouse at its Lebanon, Indiana research station. This space will be used primarily for continual corn research and trait technology conversion.
The expansion complements the continued growth of AgReliant Genetics and the demand for its products in the marketplace, the company says.
“AgReliant Genetics has always focused on providing our customers with consistent and competitive products, utilizing the latest technology,” says Tom Koch, AgReliant Genetics vice president of research. “The speed that we are able to bring these products to market is increasingly critical. Adding a state-of-the-art greenhouse to be utilized in our research efforts will allow us to integrate the latest biotechnology traits into our high-preforming corn genetics even faster.”
The greenhouse will provide over 3,400 square-feet of space and will be the first of three planned greenhouse additions at the Lebanon location. The initial project is expected to be complete in December 2015.
