Legend Seeds hires Gary Pastian as its new account manager for the district focused around its De Smet, South Dakota headquarters and surrounding counties. Pastian will be responsible for servicing customers and dealer support in this area.
“We are excited to have Gary move into this position,” says Glen Davis, president of Legend Seeds. “His dedication and customer service with our growers has been seen across the region. By having him move into this position, we will work on strengthening our market share within the counties surrounding our home area.”
Pastian has been working with Legend Seeds since 2004 with his most recent position held as soybean manager. In this position, he worked with the soybean growers and contracted product to sell for the soybean portfolio. He was also responsible for the conditioning and packaging of the soybean products across the seven-state region. While working with Legend Seeds, Pastian also farmed and had a cattle operation for over 20 years.
