Matt Robson, a fourth generation seedsman, has been named interim director of marketing for Seedway. He will assume marketing responsibilities while assisting management in developing a long-term staffing plan for the marketing department.
Robson has been marketing and communications coordinator at Seedwayt for four years, where he has been involved in all aspects of Seedway’s advertising, promotion, wearable and hybrid corn research program. A graduate of Keuka College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing, Robson grew up in the farming community of Hall, New York. His great grandfather Orson Robson, grandfather John Robson and father Richard Robson have preceded him in the seed business, primarily at Robson Seed Farms Corp. Through his family’s operations, Robson has developed a broad depth of understanding and experience in agriculture and the seed industry.
Headquartered in Hall, New York, Seedway operates nine locations in five states from Vermont to Florida. A full-line seed company, Seedway markets farm and turf seed in fourteen Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states and vegetable seed from the Rocky Mountains to the east coast and the southern provinces of Canada.
