SeedWay has promoted Jerry Davis, who has been with the company for 16 years, from soybean and cereal grain product manager to director of agronomic seed production.
In this role, Davis will be responsible for SeedWay and NK contract production of all species, including seed conditioning, packaging and treatment at all SeedWay conditioning facilities. He will also serve as the lead contact for all genetic and trait suppliers of corn, soybeans and cereal grains. Davis will continue to oversee the soybean and cereal product lines and manage the Emmaus, Pennsylvania, location.
SeedWay has also promoted Bruce Ulmer to chief communications officer. In this new position, Ulmer will assume expanded responsibility for communications, marketing and vendor relations across SeedWay’s farm, turf and vegetable seed business units, working in conjunction with the SeedWay chief operating officer and management team to develop and implement new approaches and initiatives to meet the company’s long-term goals. A 26-year seed industry veteran, Ulmer has been part of the SeedWay team for 22 years, holding multiple positions, most recently as director of marketing and employee education.
