FORTUNE magazine names Monsanto Company as one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies,” ranking No. 1 in its industry sector on the 2015 list, released today.
“On behalf of Monsanto’s more than 20,000 employees, we are proud to receive this recognition from FORTUNE for the second year in a row,” says Hugh Grant, Monsanto Chairman and CEO. “This recognition is a testament to our outstanding teams and their efforts to work with others to deliver solutions for farmers around the world.”
FORTUNE’s list is determined by company surveys and peer ratings from senior executives, directors and analysts. Ranking attributes range from innovativeness and quality of products to the retention of talented people and responsibility to the community and the environment. The 2015 listing was released online today and will appear in the magazine’s March print issue.
