Scholarships up to $4,000 available for students pursuing agricultural degrees.
The Independent Professional Seed Association (IPSA) is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program, supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals. High school seniors and college students majoring in agriculture-related fields are encouraged to apply by April 30, 2025.
IPSA annually awards scholarships of up to $4,000, with selection based on academic achievement, community and agricultural involvement. The program prioritizes students connected to IPSA member seed companies and gives preference to those studying Crop Science disciplines — including agronomy, crop science, soil science, and engineering — as well as agriculture business, economics, and marketing. Students majoring in Animal Science are considered but receive lower priority.
Applicants must complete the application in full, providing detailed responses and complete contact information. Required attachments include:
- Most recent student transcript
- Two reference letters with contact information (phone number and email)
Finalists will participate in a Zoom interview with the IPSA Scholarship Awards Committee. Winners will be recognized at the IPSA Annual Conference in January 2026, with travel arrangements handled by IPSA.
