Farming has been a constant thread throughout my life. Growing up on a farm and with my brother and many close friends still working the land today, I’ve always been connected to agriculture. Though I’m not out in the field myself, every part of my career has been centered on finding ways to make farming easier, to reduce stress, and to boost productivity for the men and women who sustain our world.
I know firsthand that farming isn’t easy. From the unpredictability of weather to soaring land costs, fluctuating commodity prices, equipment breakdowns and input shortages, farmers are constantly facing hurdles. No company, not even one with exceptional products, can fully erase the pressures farmers face. I can’t magically make a combine part appear faster when it breaks down during harvest or bring rain when crops are desperate for water. For me, it all comes down to making things effective and easy. Farmers are already juggling a lot of decisions, especially during planting, so our goal is to provide products that simplify early crop management while promoting healthy growth throughout the season. If our seed treatments can help take some of that weight off a farmer’s shoulders and reduce their stress, even just a little, then we’ve done our job. And if that means they can get a better night’s sleep knowing their crop is protected, that’s a win in my book.
