Midwest Crops Conference to Unveil 2025 Strategies for Boosting Yields and Profits

Leading experts and university researchers will provide insights on crop management, pests, and emerging agricultural trends.

“This conference offers a comprehensive exploration of current and critical crop topics,” Denice Ferguson, agricultural business and policy specialist with University of Missouri Extension, said in a news release.

The two-day event will feature agronomists and economists from the University of Missouri, University of Nebraska and Kansas State University sharing their latest research on managing corn, soybean, and wheat pests and diseases, cutting input costs, and improving cover and nutrient management practices. Attendees will also learn about the 2025 growing season forecast, with discussions on weather impacts, biologicals, and soil and water management. The Missouri Strip Trial Program’s latest findings will be presented, along with insights from top industry leaders.

The Midwest Crops Conference will take place on January 21-22, 2025, at the Stoney Creek Hotel in St. Joseph. Attendees can earn up to 14 continuing education units (CEUs) during the event.
