Syngenta announced new head of key accounts position and district sales manager for the Professional Solutions business to help support customers and partners. These roles will allow Syngenta to continue to grow while better serving the agronomic needs of customers and distribution partners according to a release.
New Head Of Key Accounts
In the newly created role, head of key accounts, Todd Loecke was appointed. In this role, six account managers will be overseen in the areas of turf, ornamentals, professional pest management and consumer businesses.
Loecke graduated from Iowa State University with his Bachelor of Science in agricultural studies. He began working with a Syngenta legacy company in 1991 as a territory manager till 2007 when he became the Midwest district sales manager for turf and ornamentals which he worked till his new role.
“For over 15 years, Todd has demonstrated his leadership skills and passion for our industry. His experience and excellent communication skills have gained the respect of his team, our customers and industry partners,” said Dave Ravel, head of sales for Syngenta Professional Solutions. “With his guidance, I am excited to see our key accounts team flourish and further provide the value and support our customers expect.”
Syngenta has also created three new key account manager positions in addition to the two held by Jason Whitecliffe and Gracee Hendrix. The new and current team will continue to grow the Professional Solutions business.
New Midwest District Sales Manager
Since Loecke was appointed to the new head of key accounts position, Troy Rippy will be the new Midwest district sales manager for the turf and ornamentals businesses. Rippy will lead a team of nine territory managers across the central U.S.
Rippy graduated from Trine University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing. Before working at Syngenta, Rippy was a golf course superintendent at Eagle Glen Golf Course and distributor sales representative with Simplot. Rippy joined the Syngenta team in 2006 as a territory manager in Indiana and northwest Ohio.
“With Troy’s previous experience as a superintendent, distributor sales representative and Syngenta territory manager, we’re excited to elevate him into this new role,” said Ravel. “We’re confident his robust experience and strong customer relationships will be a great foundation for him as the Midwest district sales manager.”
