Germains Seed Technology welcomes Jean-Paul Geelhoed as European head of commercial horticulture. Geelhoed will manage the commercial, marketing and customer service teams as the European head of commercial horticulture and a Germains’ European leadership team member.
“Jean-Paul has an extensive background in the seed and agriculture industry, having worked for Apeel Sciences, Bayer and legacy Monsanto. He held a variety of positions, including a role as EMEA Sales Effectiveness Lead and ultimately as EMEA/APAC account planning & performance management lead,” said Aga Szkurlat, business director of Europe. “In his new role, he will focus on the commercial delivery of our European R&D Pipeline Project and deliver our current and longer-term strategic growth plans. Jean-Paul’s expertise in the seed industry is key to solidifying Germains’ position as a leader in our industry.”
Geelhoed’s key career accomplishments include the implementation of the EMEA Sales Effectiveness Framework, which resulted in the integrated commercial operational plan and integrated marketing plan approach. In addition, he is a global operational excellence finalist, for the customer growth strategy and sales effectiveness and CRM and global customer-centric organization finalist, for the customer-centric partner program.
