On Feb. 14, the Independent Professional Seed Association (IPSA) announced the opening of the IPSA scholarships to IPSA members, family, staff and customers.
This year will be the first year IPSA opens the scholarship applications early to IPSA members.
“We are trying something new this year. Between now and March 15, 2023, the IPSA Scholarship Program is only open to IPSA member companies, their families, employees and customers’ eligible students,” says Todd Martin, IPSA CEO. “This should be a benefit to IPSA members — so we are giving you the ability to use this as your scholarship program. Our intent is to gather enough internal candidates that we can award our 2023 scholarship pool to those connected to IPSA members.”
The scholarship will then open to the public on March 15.
In addition, IPSA is increasing the amount of scholarship money given — this year, scholarship winners will be given $2,000 to $4,000.
“We want to be able to help students and families with their educational needs. We will continue to work on an internship program to connect students with IPSA members as needed,” Martin says.
