Brett Lenz joins AgriThority as technology transfer product and business development manager to support clients moving toward successful commercialization. Lenz will lead the growth of AgriThority technology development services.
Lenz’s technology transfer responsibilities include management of the late development large-scale, on-farm trial system, TrialWerx. He works with the global AgriThority team to organize agronomic teams, to consolidate precision and digital data along with our field researchers, and to generate meaningful insights for clients and growers. He also leads clients through our data-driven, science-based product and market development process to accelerate the commercialization of agricultural innovations.
“Brett’s expertise will strengthen the technology transfer process for our clients,” said Gloverson Moro, CTO. “His background and experience are valuable additions to our team as we continue to expand our TrialWerx and technology transfer programs.”
Lenz brings a wealth of knowledge in agronomic strategy, precision agriculture and digital data, as well as strong process management skills to his leadership role at AgriThority. Prior to joining AgriThority, Lenz worked with AgVend and Farmobile to optimize agribusiness data analysis for ag startups, retailers and growers. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Lenz received a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness management.
TrialWerx extends large-scale, on-farm trials into valuable, actionable information and performance proof that’s also timely for planning. The proprietary process helps demonstrate the value of new innovations through practical, real-world application and evaluation while verifying Best Management Practices by environment.
“Independent, proven data and insights are critical for innovative, research-driven companies to compete in today’s digital and automation era of agriculture,” said Jerry Duff, AgriThority founder and president. “TrialWerx not only generates valuable data, but also aligns experience and value beyond yield to farmers, agronomists, dealers and the company developing the technology.”
