From the Netherlands, Wilke Heijs of Ceradis Crop Protection shares why biologicals are secondary to traditional chemistries … but she’s says Ceradis is working to change that with next-generation biologicals. “It should be this OR this,” she says. “It should be this AND this.” Heijs also says those in the biological space should expect the same or better performance of products compared to synthetic chemistries. So what’s their goal? Reduce chemical loading 50% and help farmers sustainably feed the world.
