Euroseeds is hiring for the position of “Technical Manager (Variety Registration and Seed Marketing)” who will work closely with the Euroseeds membership and, as member of the Secretariat’s Market Access Coordination Group, under the guidance of Coordinator and Secretary General to whom he/she will be reporting. The Technical Manager will represent Euroseeds on all relevant variety registration matters (DUS protocols, VCU test guidelines, certification and quality standards, etc.) towards the responsible EU institutions, specifically the EU Commission, the CPVO Community Plant Variety Office and national plant variety offices, UPOV, etc. The Manager shall be the spokesperson of the EU seed sector on these subjects and assure multiplication of European activities at international level as required.
The Technical Manager will be responsible for the management, support and animation of the dedicated Euroseeds Committee Plant Reproductive Material as well as some of Euroseeds’ crop specific Sections and related Working Groups; further tasks may be assigned in line with the association’s needs and individual expertise and experience. Within the General Secretariat, the Manager will collaborate closely with the colleagues of its Market Access Coordination Group.
