Hershey Company has announced the will be releasing a vegan chocolate bar Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt and Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups according to a release. The two new products will be made with dairy alternatives.
The chocolate can be expected to remain the same, less milk. The products will be vegan and oat milk is replacing the dairy milk in the chocolate products. They started releasing products in 2021 to cater to consumer preferences. The line also features portion-controlled treats, zero sugar, no sugar added, and high protein products to offer a variety of choices.
The plant-based peanut butter cups are expected to be available March 2023. The plant-based salted chocolate bar with almonds can be expected April 2023.
