During a gala event at the German Historic Museum in Berlin, PETKUS was acknowledged for its commitment to the competitiveness of German Brands.
With the rating “Special Mention”, the German Brand Institute awarded particular aspects in brand management within its Branding Awards 2017. PETKUS was honored in the section Excellence in Branding/Machines & Engineering.
The second time since existence and under the eyes of over 500 invited guests from business, politics and the media, the German Brand Awards were given to innovative brands, consistent branding and sustainable brand communication, as well as personalities and companies that are pioneering in the world of brands. The German Brand Award was initiated by the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 by the German Bundestag and was donated by the Federation of German Industries. For more than 60 years, the foundation has been pursuing the objective of promoting the competitiveness of German companies.
Representing PETKUS CEO Mark Scholze, Art Director Antje Klein took over the winner’s certificate from the hands of Andrej Kupetz, Chief Executive Officer of the German Design Award and Jury Chairman of the German Brand Awards.
“Focusing, clear differentiation from the competition, the integration of the employees, the holistic understanding and implementation of the brand are and remain the most important success factors of strong brands,” Kupetz explains of the jury’s decisions. “For over 170 years and with passion, the PETKUS brand has stood for solid technology and innovation.”
