Few events can boast a robust history dating back more than 100 years.
In 1897 Lethbridge and area ranchers organized the first ever “Lethbridge and District Exhibition” — an Expo to showcase the critical role of agriculture in what is now known as the province’s food corridor.
Today, that same spirit is embodied as we kick off 2025 Ag Expo, an ever-expanding showcase of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and a gathering place for farmers to reconnect and learn about the innovations that can make a true impact on their operations.
Hosted in the beautiful and expansive Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre in Lethbridge, and proudly powered by Seed World Canada, this year’s Ag Expo will include almost 300 exhibitor booths, the highly anticipated Seed Fair, and daily live music from Lady Grime and the Prairie Scum.
On Thursday, Feb. 27, participants can enjoy a hospitality-style information session with keynote speaker Dr. Cami Ryan, Senior Business Partner for Industry Affairs and Sustainability at Bayer Crop Science Canada. Ryan will discuss critical issues and risks in Canadian Agriculture. Though free, pre-registration is required for this event. Find out more about The Dish here.
And from 10:30 am to noon daily, in Boardroom 4 on the second floor, Eco-Tea will host “Unlocking Soil Health,” a limited-seating presentation and discussion geared toward agrologists and potato growers. To RSVP, visit the website.
For the full program, or to register, check out the Ag Expo website.
And if you plan to be there, grab your free popcorn and complementary coffee and join as at the Seed World Canadabooth, located near the front entrance. We look forward to connecting with you!
