Seeds Canada has introduced a new tool to help safeguard seed innovation and protect intellectual property rights in the plant breeding industry. The Seed Tip Line is now live and available for reporting suspicious seed activity and/or suspected intellectual property infringements. Reports can be made by calling 1-833-533-6200 or through an online form at seeds-canada.ca/report.
This initiative is part of Seeds Canada’s ongoing commitment to supporting its members and ensuring a strong return on investment for plant breeding innovations, said CEO Barry Senft. Members are encouraged to help amplify awareness of the Seed Tip Line by incorporating it into their communications, promotions, and social media campaigns.
