Pitura Seeds has announced the formation of Daymond Sales & Agronomy, in partnership with long-time partner, Justin Daymond.
Located in Cypress River, Man., Daymond Sales & Agronomy will serve the local area with pedigreed seed and agronomy services. The business will carry a full range of cereal, canola, corn and soybean varieties.
“At Pitura Seeds we recognize the value of partnerships, and taking this collaboration with Justin to the next level is a win-win for our business, and the farmers of the area,” said Tom Greaves, president of Pitura Seeds.
Pitura Seeds and Daymond have been working in a sales alliance for the last four years, and will deepen their relationship through the new business formation, they said.
“Justin is a life-long resident of Cypress River, and is very involved with the community. He is the perfect partner for us to expand the Pitura Seeds brand and values into this area of Manitoba.”
Daymond will take the title of general manager of Daymond Sales & Agronomy, which will formally begin operations this fall.
“I’m proud of the work we’ve done with Pitura Seeds in the past, and in our ability to deliver high quality in everything we do. Building our own family business in Cypress River is an exciting next step, and I am eager to continue our work with local farmers,” Daymond said.
