SeCan has welcomed a new team member.
Lauren Wensley has accepted the position of marketing representative for Northern Saskatchewan.
She worked previously in seed for Viterra, Canterra Seeds, and most recently in retail with G-Mac’s AgTeam at Lucky Lake, Sask. Responsible for supporting SeCan members’ businesses across her region, she will represent SeCan and our varieties within Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
“Lauren’s connections within the industry and seed grower community means she will ‘hit the ground running’, says Todd Hyra, SeCan’s Western Business Manager. “We look forward to Lauren following her passion for seed as a member of our western team.”
Lauren says she’s excited to get back into the seed industry full-time and start working with SeCan members and partners again.
This role will fill the vacancy left by Wes Woods as he moves into retirement. Wes will remain a resource for SeCan during busy times over the upcoming season.
