At today’s Canadian Seed Trade Association Semi-Annual meeting, three major players in the seed sector were honoured.
Winnipeg the 2020 Canadian Plant Breeding & Genetics Award is wheat breeder Rob Graf. In 2019, Graf’s varieties represented 80% of the planted acres for milling quality winter wheat in Western Canada.
The CSTA Honorary Life Award winner is Kofi Agblor, former managing director of the Crop Development Centre. Scott Horner, general manager of HyTech Production and former CSTA president, receives the Seed Achievement Award.
