Liz Prenger is a 2018 Borlaug Scholar and master’s student studying soybean breeding and genetics at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on the genetics and improvement of soybean seed composition. We caught up with her at the 2018 meeting of the National Association of Plant Breeders in Guelph, Ont. earlier this month to talk about her work and why growing up around farming made her the person she is.
