As a part of its annual general meeting to be held in Clear Lake, Man. July 6-8, the Canadian Seed Growers’ Association is offering a free kids program under the leadership of Friends of Riding Mountain National Park._x000D_

“Friends” is a non-profit organization, committed to increasing awareness and appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of Riding Mountain National Park. Through innovative programming in partnership with Parks Canada and other like-minded organizations, Friends of Riding Mountain National Park provide valuable educational opportunities that inspire environmental stewardship._x000D_

Licenced and trained staff will take your little “seedlings” on fun tours of the park, and projects with a focus on nature and sustainability. Kids are welcome on Wednesday night for SeCan’s 40th anniversary celebrations, and will have a night in at the Resort consisting of movies and swimming during the awards banquet on Thursday night, and then join parents for the Dean Gunnarson magician and illusionist show. Gunnarson has appeared on television in over 165 countries around the world performing his stunts, illusions and magic. Gunnarson is known for his TV show Escape for Die! on OLN._x000D_
