“Shorter crop rotations have led to increased disease pressure in pulses,” explains Eric Phillips, Product Lead, Fungicides and Insecticides, with Syngenta Canada. “As a result, it’s critical for growers to maintain yield and quality through effective control of foliar diseases.”_x000D_

Applied preventatively, Elatus targets major yield-robbing diseases, including Anthracnose, Ascochytablight and Mycosphaerella blight._x000D_

Elatus delivers long-lasting disease protection in two ways:_x000D_

    _x000D_

  • First, Elatus sticks to the plant’s waxy layer on the cuticle of the leaf, penetrating slowly over time, delivering residual activity.

  • Secondly, Elatus is taken up through the xylem – the water conducting vessels within the plant – and then moves upward and outward to protect the plant as it grows.
