To better meet customer needs and drive growth, Syngenta named David Hollinrake as president of Syngenta Seeds and North America region director. Additionally, the company appointed David Treinen as head of GreenLeaf Genetics._x000D_

Hollinrake comes to Syngenta from Bayer CropScience LP, where he served as vice president of North America Marketing and Portfolio Management. During his time at Bayer, Hollinrake led business strategy efforts, and marketing and portfolio changes while achieving impressive net sales growth, according to Syngenta._x000D_

In his new role, Hollinrake will is responsible for strengthening the North American seeds business by driving improvements already underway to ensure maximum focus on customers with a choice of top genetics, traits and agronomic support._x000D_

“David brings more than 25 years of agriculture experience with a laser focus on meeting customer needs,” says Jeff Rowe, Syngenta president of Global Seeds and North America. “He has a proven track record in strategic and product planning, organizational design, business development, and sales and marketing — and he is an excellent communicator.”_x000D_

Another asset to the organization is the appointment of Treinen as head of GreenLeaf Genetics. Most recently Treinen was northern seed manager for Pinnacle Agriculture, where he set a successful strategy for growth in seeds while working across functional groups to integrate independent regional businesses into the organization. He was also instrumental in setting strategy and launching a new seed brand across Pinnacle._x000D_
