According to a statement issued by DuPont to Seed World, DuPont has dismissed its complaint against Monsanto in the Delaware Court of Chancery on which we first reported on Monday.
“The two companies have agreed to work through a more efficient binding arbitration process,” the statement reads.
The lawsuit concerned the terms of a 2012 decision by an arbitration panel that ordered Monsanto to pay DuPont royalties from technology used to develop herbicide-resistant soybeans.
The royalties concern a “gene gun” technology used to inject cells with genetic information.
