Servi-Tech president and CEO Greg Ruehle announced the formation of its new executive management team.
Joining the company in the newly-created chief operating officer position is Jeff Hiers. He will be responsible for sales, information technology, communications and marketing efforts, as well as human resources and educational programming. Prior to joining Servi-Tech, he worked for the Kansas Farmers Service Agency.
Three current Servi-Tech employees will also join the executive management team.
Jeff Kugler joins the executive management team as CEO for Servi-Tech Expanded Premium Services, LLC (STEPS). As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Servi-Tech, STEPS has established an industry-leading soil moisture management program (TheProfiler), and continues to evaluate a number of new technology offerings. Kugler has been employed for 39 years with Servi-Tech starting as an agronomist, then division manager and regional manager for Crop Services.
Jeff McDaniel is now chief financial officer for Servi-Tech. McDaniel’s career at Servi-Tech has spanned 23 years, most recently serving as the company’s business manager. In his new role, he will continue his current responsibilities, as well as be involved in the evaluation of current and future business enterprises that Servi-Tech may consider.
Randy Royle assumes the title of Servi-Tech chief laboratory officer. Royle has been with Servi-Tech for 28 years, most recently as the director of laboratories.
This announcement comes as Servi-Tech celebrates its 40th anniversary.
