AgReliant Genetics, the third-largest corn seed company in North America, breaks ground on the expansion of its Westfield, Indiana headquarters. The expanded facility will nearly double existing capacity.
“Our continued growth and success in the marketplace has resulted in the need to expand our existing location in preparation for additional long-term growth,” says Craig Newman, AgReliant Genetics president and chief executive officer. “We greatly appreciate the support that we have received from the Westfield community as well as Hamilton County and the state of Indiana. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has also been instrumental. We look forward to a prosperous future together.”
The expansion will include additional capacity for leadership functions as well as administrative and support personnel, a large group training and conference center and additional flexible space for future expansion.
Mitsch Design, a local architectural and interior design firm, and Pepper Construction, a local general contracting firm, will lead the project on-site with anticipated completion in early 2016.
