Luke Knight is a junior in agricultural communications at Auburn University and is originally from Wadley, Alabama, home of the Tallapoosa River. Luke enjoys spending time on these waters with his family and friends kayaking. He is currently involved in Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, Collegiate FFA, and Ag Ambassadors, in which he serves as president. Knight worked for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System as an undergraduate project assistant for Alabama Peanut/Vegetable IPM for a year and a half. He will be interning for Monsanto Company this summer in the BioAg division. When he returns to Auburn in the fall, he will be working for the College of Agriculture as the assistant alumni relations coordinator. After graduation, Luke plans to enter a career of sales with an agricultural seed or chemical company. He hopes to one day represent farmers in a commodity organization.
