Today, the American Seed Trade Association opened registration for its Corn, Sorghum and Soybean Seed Research Conference and Seed Expo, to be held Dec. 5-9 in Chicago, Illinois.
This conference brings together more than 3,000 representatives from the seed industry and more than 150 exhibitors. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the latest research coming out of universities, as well as companies.
A few of the topics and speakers included in this year’s line up include:
- The Information Gap Between Industry and Consumers by Tim Hassinger of Dow AgroSciences and Mike Gruber of Grocery Manufacturers Association.
- The 2016 Ag Economy Report: Future Global Market Essentials by Dan Basse of AgResource Company.
- Corn Rootworm Resistance by Alan Reynolds of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (invited), Jeff Bookout of Monsanto and Nathan Fields of the National Corn Growers Association.
For ASTA members who register on and before Nov. 15, the registration fee is $375. The registration fee increases to $450 for members who register after Nov. 15. Registration for non-members is $750 on and before Nov. 15 and $825 after that. Other registration options, such as a one-day pass or seed expo pass, are available.
