At the International Seed Federation’s 2017 World Seed Congress, Ketty Nilsson, president of NoroGard, sits down with Shawn Brook to talk about the evolution of batch seed treaters an the importance of maintaining a good environment and being able to control quality.
Nilsson explains that seed companies need to work to control dust issues, provide a safe operating environment for employees and minimize the impact on the external environment. Additionally, companies must maintain consistency in product quality from batch to batch, lot to lot and year to year, and accurately apply the proper dosage rate. These things combined, she says will help build customer confidence.
Brook also asks Nilsson what she sees coming down the pipeline and how much testing and research goes into a new product launch.
