Concept Ag announced today the development of a new liquid product called Root-Tek that promotes strong and vigorous root development.
“Proper nutrition is key during a plants early development,” says Concept Ag President Trey Curtis. “Root-Tek helps by assisting with root development and can be applied though seed treatment or in-furrow, while being mixed with a wide-variety of products.”
Curtis said that they have seen positive outcomes in both plant and root mass during lab tests with Root-Tek on soybeans, corn and other crops.
“We have seen a 16 percent increase in total plant mass and a 15 percent increase in root mass when used on soybeans in lab tests,” says Curtis.
Stronger roots help to reduce potential stress on the plant and enhances nutrient uptake, Curtis explained.
