Germains Seed Technology announced that Victoria Lawrence has joined the company as the new managing director. In this role, she will lead Germains’ business operations and sales across all key markets and facilities in the UK, Netherlands, Spain and the United States.
Before joining Germains, Lawrence spent six years at AB Agri which is part of Associated British Foods plc, in general management, global strategy and business development roles. She also has significant experience in international strategy consulting, covering a variety of industries including shipping, packaging, consumer goods and aid agencies.
Lawrence states: “As Managing Director of Germains I am responsible for the overall success of our global business. A large part of my job is to support and enable the fantastic teams we have in place to stay close to all our customers, both old and new. Germains has always focused on delivering flexible, high-quality seed technology solutions, and to continue to do this we need to understand and meet our customers’ needs in a rapidly changing market, delivering sustainable growth for all.”
Lawrence replaces managing director Steve Moon, who stepped down from the position in April of 2018 to pursue other career interests after four years with Germains Seed Technology and thirteen years within Associated British Foods plc.
