Michelle Klieger is the founder of Stratagerm Consulting LLC. She helps companies effectively navigate the complexities of an evolving international trade environment, and also guides vertical farmers on strategic growth and improving their profitability, by providing fundamentals education and market insight on the seed industry.
Prior to Stratagerm, Michelle was the Director of International Trade and Policy at the American Seed Trade Association, Michelle worked on six continents and served on the Board of Directors for the Asia & Pacific Seed Association and the Seed Association of the Americas. Through these experiences, she has gained an understanding of the seed supply chain and has relationships with seed companies around the world. Michelle is also an expert on organic regulations and has provided critical input to the National Organic Standards Board and the National Organic Program on behalf of the seed industry.
She holds a Masters in Agriculture Economics from Purdue University & an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
