Breeder Direct announces the hiring of Loren Jesch as its business development lead, according to a release.
Jesch comes to Breeder Direct after spending more than 20 years with independent seed companies in sales and product management. He has extensive experience with value-added products and delivering ROI for seed companies and farmers.
“Loren’s always looking for the best fit, whether it’s in hybrid selection or business model development,” said Marc Neuman, director of sales and product development for Breeder Direct. “We’re excited to welcome Loren to the team! He will support the continued growth of our base of independent seed company customers and help us expand into new markets.”
“What Breeder Direct offers is so special,” said Jesch. “The independence of the germplasm allows us to seamlessly integrate into existing brands’ lineups while also empowering companies to start new brands with unique market positioning and pricing.”
Jesch and his wife, Kim, live in Stevens Point, Wis., and are busy parents to two boys, Brayden (14) and Levi (13), who are in sports, art activities and camps. Jesch and his wife enjoy active hobbies such as hiking, running and weightlifting, which makes enjoying local brewery tours a great way to relax. He’s a graduate of North Dakota State University and grew up on a small dairy farm in Southwest North Dakota.
