Whether you are running a farm or in an office, getting that meeting request can be viewed as a nuisance. But when they’re planned out and held when required, they can help drive your farm or business forward and keep communication flowing amongst employees. How do you hold a successful staff meeting though?
On the May 11 episode of Seed Speaks we’re taking a closer look at what you can do to plan and host successful staff meetings. We’re joined by Lance Stockbrugger of LDS Stockbrugger Farms, and Scott Sanders of Peterson Farms Seed to discuss why you should be scheduling regular staff meetings.
Stockbrugger is a chartered professional accountant and a cash crop producer from Saskatchewan. He has 20 years of public practice experience, which gives him an in-depth knowledge of income tax, succession, and corporate structure experience. As an active grain producer, Stockbrugger has the practical ag experience to discuss grass root issues that affect producers daily.
Sanders is the general manager of Peterson Farms Seed where he handles the day-to-day operations of the company. Peterson Farms Seed is a privately-owned agricultural input supplier, operating in North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota. Sanders has over 18 years of experience as a finance/accounting and business development professional and holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia and bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Join us on May 11 at 12 p.m. CDT at the YouTube link above to watch the discussion.
